The base of this insert is multi-ply and can be used as a small saucepan in it's own right.
Complete with its own special lid.
This insert allows for a range of Bain Marie style cooking proceedures.
The Bain Marie is 16.5 cm wide (6.5 inches) and 6 cm deep (2.5 inches) and will comfortably hold 1 litre (32 ounces)
The Bain Marie is designed to suit the 4.5 litre and 6 litre inner saucepans to allow for the cooking of two meals in the same saucepan
