Did you know that all trailers over 750kgs GTM (irrespective of the towing capacity or unlade mass of the tow vehicle) must have an effective brake system fitted. The brakes must be operable from the driver’s seat of the tow vehicle except for over-ride brakes. A ‘break-away’ system is compulsory on all trailers over 2,000kgs GTM.
The Tow Secure Break-Away Kit features :
- Automatically applies the trailer brakes and the trailer stop lights in the unlikely event that the trailer separates from the tow vehicle
